Jamie Gold

Jamie was born in Paramus, N.J.
He was introduced to card playing at a young age by his mother and grandfather, who was a gin rummy champion.
He started out working at a talent agency and worked for some very well known agencies. Later on he became famous as he was the youngest franchised agent in the business, something he achieved at the age of 21.

Nowadays Jamie lives in Los Angeles, California, working as a television producer.

James Gandolfini ("The Sopranos"), Felicity Huffman ("Desperate Housewives"), Jimmy Fallon ("Saturday Night Live"), Lucy Liu ("Charlie's Angels") and Kristin Davis ("Sex and the City") are a few actors Jamie has worked with.

Jamie was a member of the Bodog.com celebrity team when he entered the world series of poker Main event. In that event he was unstoppable, he was the chip leader for the last four days of play and it didn’t change. He became the latest winner of the World Series of Poker Main event, taking home the prize money of $12.000.000 due to the highest entrants ever in WSOP, 8773 entrants.

At this tournament, the well known johnny chan worked as a mentor for Jamie, giving him tips and the self confidence he so well deserved.

Aside from this enormous win, Jamie has finished in the money in a dozen of other tournaments, for example; a fifth place finish in the $300 No-Limit Hold'em event at the 2006 Winnin' O' the Green at the Bicycle Casino.
